Using ideas from other writers
Plagiarism, permissions, and credits
Learning to organize
Tools for crafting
Easy editing tips to improve your literacy skills by 25 percent

Have an idea for a book, but don't know how to get started? Learn how to outline your material, define the research, put the project in action, and break the manuscript down into manageable pieces and sections for paragraph and chapter development. Whether your book will be fiction or non-fiction, developing your manuscript will seem less onerous as you start to tie the pieces together.

If the thought of writing makes you nervous, that you don’t think you have anything to write about, then I will help you find your confidence by guiding you to conquer that fear.

Saturday's workshop will:

Dispel the myths about publishing

Show you what's involved with getting a book to print

Give you inside information about how the industry is changing and what that means for you (it's a good thing!)

Help you harness the fear of marketing your book and open the door to an endless array of low cost to NO cost ways to plant the marketing seeds

Arm you with the options and tools you need to make your book a success

Provide no bull and give you concrete information you can put into action immediately

You will be guided through the book publishing minefield and save yourself a ton of money and grief.

You’ll learn stuff that royalty published authors and the traditional publishing industry don’t necessarily want you to know.
